Shannon Kostka has been committed to providing compassionate care for over 25 years. Her career began in the telemetry unit of Loyola University Hospital. Shannon then moved to Hinsdale Hospital as an ER Charge Nurse for two decades. In addition, Shannon worked in interventional radiology, PRN. Shannon has multiple certifications in life support and emergency care including certifications in ACLS, CPR, PALS, ENPC, and NIHSS. She joined Hopemark Health in 2020 to provide a welcoming and safe environment for patients.
Shannon is a committed volunteer with the Wolff-Hirshchhorn Syndrome Foundation (a rare congenital disease), and in this role, meets with families of recently diagnosed children and helps them navigate treatment.
Shannon received her BSN from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing.
