We focus on the effects that medication changes can have on ketamine response and intervals between maintenance ketamine infusions. Medication interventions to help lengthen the time between the infusions are utilized, thus keeping patients feeling well longer and reducing financial burden of the treatment. We pay close attention to your overall mental health, offer supportive therapy, and always have innovative approaches to psychiatric care.
Psychiatric services include treatment of addictive disorders, ADHD, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and long acting injectable medications.
Our general psychiatric services include the medication treatment of Anxiety Disorders including panic attacks, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Generalized Anxiety, and social anxiety.
It is estimated that over 10 million adults in the U.S. have ADHD. Almost half of those never seek out treatment by a health care professional. The difficulty with completing tasks and sustaining attention, feelings of restlessness, becoming easily distracted, excessive fidgeting, forgetfulness can all be possible symptoms of ADHD. At Hopemark Health, clinical diagnostic evaluation and medication management for ADHD is offered and can improve the quality of life.
Medication treatment of Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective Disorder including long acting antipsychotic injections. These injections are offered and given at Hopemark when appropriate, and can free someone from needing to take a daily oral medication. They can remain effective for up to three months after the shot. Examples include Abilify Maintaina, Invega Trinza, Invega Sustenna, Risperdal Consta, and Haldol Decanoate. Data shows that utilizing this approach can improve chances of someone staying well and out of the hospital secondary to their psychiatric condition.
Neurocognitive testing involves taking a computer based test that lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutes and assess various dimensions of cognition including focus, memory, and attention. The results are scored immediately by the computer, and compares the scores against normal populations. Most insurance carriers will cover up to 4 of these tests per year. They can be helpful in aiding the clinician determining an accurate diagnosis as well as assessing how well someone is responding to ADHD treatment. The test includes validated rating scales that rule out anxiety, stress, sleep quality issues, and depression as possible causes.

At Hopemark, we believe in the importance of assessing a patient’s condition by conducting a comprehensive evaluation. This is inclusive of medical and family history, environmental and psychological factors, as well as previous treatment protocols and medications. We also conduct Pharmacogenetic and cognitive testing. These tests provide us with a more precise approach to medication selection, more accuracy in diagnosis, and a way to objectively measure your response to the treatment plan.
General medication management involves overseeing a patient’s medication regimen to ensure safe and effective use. This includes prescribing appropriate medications, dispensing and administering them, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects, reconciling medications, educating patients, and scheduling follow-up appointments. It aims to optimize therapy outcomes while minimizing risks, requiring collaboration among our entire team along with the patient.
